Fifty, so smile

It is my BIL 50th today, happy birthday to him. I made this trangular card and decorated it with Crate Paper and cuts from my Cricut machine.

Create Joy Notebook

What better way to create a bit of joy in your life by having a yummy note book that you can jot all your happy thoughts into.

I made this using my new Bind it all machine - it is a brilliant gadget, I then decorated with Crate Paper & buttons, the love heart I covered with crackle glaze which brings the piece of wood alive.

I added gems to the butterfly which I attached to the binding along with tied ribbons.

Secret Sliding Heart

I thought it would be nice to add a little extra dimension to this card, so after cutting the scalloped edged heart & straight edge card, I held them together with an eyelet & added a ribbon to make it look pretty. The red heart is stuck down & the idea is that the top white heart slides down & across so that you can leave a secret little love message for your Valentine.
Love was cut from Beyond Birthdays on the Cricut & the Valentine was printed from my PC.

A Day for Hearts

Feeling all heart felt today. Created these Valentine Day cards with love & style in mind. I thought I would try a bit of sewing onto a card, not done it before & was fairly pleased with how it turned out. Both hearts were cut using Beyond Birthdays Cricut cart, spotty ribbon & wording paper were from my stash cannot remember where from.
The pale thinner pink ribbon was from an item of clothing where they attach the tags with ribbon.....I always save these and they come in really handy.

Little Leprechaun

A friend of mine has a birthday that lands on St. Patricks Day, so what a great topic for a card. I used the Leprechaun option on the Paper Dolls cart, some correspnding paper edged with Lime chalk ink. I have put some sparkles on his hat & finished with the sentiment on the main card area.

Valentine Heart

Inspired by Iralamija this card is for my very special husband. I cut the heart shapes from the Doodlecharms cart and the Love from Jasmine.
I attached two scalloped hearts together with an eyelet so that the card can stand, this part was finished off with ribbon, but not too much as it's for a man.
I wanted something simple that was not overstated & I think this says it all really.

Thank you Iralamija for your inspiring work.
