The Cat Sat on the.......Bed!

OK, so it does not rhyme but who cares cause he looks so cute & peaceful. This stamped image has been coloured with pencil crayons & then blended with sansador using touillons I am loving this technique as some of you may have noticed. I have glossed some areas to add some interest, then layered & matted on a really heavy ribbed blue card, then a layer of orange & then silver. The dotty paper is from English Paper Co (I think) this is covered half way across & edged with a silver line. The dots are Card Candy from Craftworkcards the green ones are from the Wrapped Wishes range & the blue from the Peppermint variety.
This card is destined for France hence the French sentiment.

Open the Gates for your Valentine

Quick gate fold Valentine card covered with yummy Dovecraft paper, I cannot remember the name but quite masculine.
The heart was cut on my Cricut machine using good old trusty George cartridge, I cut it at 3" & then on 3" shadow, on the smaller of the 2 hearts I added the eyelets to thread some gold organza ribbon through. This is then raise mounted onto the larger heart & attached halfway over the gatefold.
On the side without the heart I added those absolutely yummy card candy pips the Raspberry Ripple variety from Craftworkcards. The inside has an Ingrid Bergman quote on vellum which I cut the bottom with wiggly scissors & inked with Chalk Ink.
