I love this paper, its gorgeous. Topped with a scrummy cupcake cut from the Doodlecharms cartridge on Cricut. The pink icing has been embossed with Swiss Dots and finished with a cute pink ribbon xxx Delicious!

For all you Beetle lovers. Stamped & then coloured with pencils & blended with sansador. Buttons & stitiching adding that retro feel & funky lettering & paper. Glossy accents are a must & an added touch with the name on the number plate.

Explosion Box House

An unusual request for my hubbies work, a brand meeting was being held in an apartment & this set the scene for the day & in turn the invitations. House style invites!
I made an explosion box & then built the roof onto the lid, chimney, gables & the house front using the Design Software for my Cricut machine.
Each invite has a house on the front & back with the person invited as the house name & a little brass brad for the door knob. The curtains are gingham ribbon, each large side folds down to reveal some teaser text, then a little cow stamped image on the medium sides. The scroll is the details of the invite etc.
This was a very challenging project & many hours spent working on them, but it was enjoyable at the same time.

I have Gone Topless

Well not exactly.....I did this card for a friend 'Caroline' who loves open top cars & sadly has not yet been able to own one. Thought I'd give her the next best thing.
The stamp was kindly stamped for me by Gill it is from Rubber Romance, I then painted it with Blonde Moments pigment chalks & the hair with my Marvy pens. I used glossy accents on the wheels.
I cannot remember the paper, but it is quite popular at the moment the sentiment I made up & printed off.

Dottie Invigilates!

A card for an invigilator who was unable to work during this exam season - she was missed.
I used Louly's Dottie from her work range and added my own sentiment. Dottie was coloured using simple colouring pencils and some glossy accents added on her red shoes, flowers in her hair & apples....nothing like a shiny apple to win an invigilator over! Vintage buttons from my great grandma's button box worked with some wire & mounted onto ribbon.

Penny Roll for a New Baby

I was asked to make a new baby card, they had seen another penny roll card that I had made so I decided to adapt it to fit. The baby I cut on my Cricut machine using the New Arrival cartridge along with the sentiment. I did the baby in really pale pink card & then chalked over him so that his skin looks all pink & perfect, the shorts are also inked round the edge for definition. I also cut the baby on shadow to mount under the pink baby to add more depth.
The sentiment is also cut on normal & shadow to let it lift from the page.
I added the bounce line with a Marvey Pen & added a few gems.

The insert I printed on the inside & the outer part so that a message peeked through the slot, all that needs to be done now is to tilt the card left & right to watch the baby roll....lots of smiles on the horizon I hope.

Little Leprechaun

A friend of mine has a birthday that lands on St. Patricks Day, so what a great topic for a card. I used the Leprechaun option on the Paper Dolls cart, some correspnding paper edged with Lime chalk ink. I have put some sparkles on his hat & finished with the sentiment on the main card area.

Chocoholic!

Yeah....it's Friday.
It's chippy tea night in our house on a Friday, DH popped off to get the food in so thought I would share my unhealthy diet with this chocoholic card.
It is a simple white card that I ran through my printer with the sentiment and then decorated with chocolate card shaped into yummy chocolates mmmmmm!

The idea came from Enfys who makes brilliant cards and some one to aspire to, hence me scraplifting this idea and creating something a little different.
