Butterfly Beauty

Pretty little card make using white pearl card and printed with a sentiment. I then added the butterfly using the Cricut and punched some cute little flowers in the matching coloured card.

Sweet Temptation

I love this paper, its gorgeous. Topped with a scrummy cupcake cut from the Doodlecharms cartridge on Cricut. The pink icing has been embossed with Swiss Dots and finished with a cute pink ribbon xxx Delicious!

A cute little box to keep that all important first lock.

Card Making with Cricut

My friend bought be this ace book for Christmas called 'Card Making with Cricut' by Annie's Attic. It has some great creations in there for you to make or take inspiration from.
I made this card using the Essential Accents & Walk in My Garden cartridges.

Silver Fifty!

Stitching, ribbon, flowers & silver bling completes this card. K & Co paper, 50 & circles & scallops circle cut on Cricut Jasmine.

Worded Squares

Another card created with the help of the Cricut Design Studio. Simply welded the letters to a square shape & cut.

My friend just passed her Tae Kwon-Do black belt so what better way than to make her a card congratulating her. I got the idea of people made from circles off Jo Kill in Papercraft Inspirations. I loved making this little character each element of her is made using a circle or something cut from a circle.

Vintage Style

I bought this paper a while ago & loved it too much to use, but I finally gave in & used it on this card. The stamped image I painted with H2o's & then layered & matted. Finished off with some lace over lilac ribbon & the ribbon is then tied onto one of my favourite embellishments a silver swirl.

Christmas Tilda's

I am new to Tilda & Edwin, but I love them, again coloured using pencil crayons & Sansador, with a bit of glossy in places.

One for a Boy & One for a Girl

Not blogged for ages, so about to update you on what I have been making

This card was for my niece, she is really into her ballet, so Paper Dolls came in handy along with my trusy old sewing machine.

Total BOY card, little boat cut from New Arrival cartidge, the Waves from Zooballoo. I love this range of papers, I had them for ages before I took the plunge & cut them!

My First Tilda

Yes I know, I have been crafting for years & never done a Tilda, well here she is. I think I will be doing more of her, a lot more!

I did the card for a new friend who is just lovely. The paper is by DoveCraft & the designer Kate Knight. Stitched on my sewing machine & ink edged with Color Box Lavender.

Wedding Memento Explosion Box

An explosion box with photos of the day and a scroll of the reading that her friend gave. This little box will be kept and treasured forever.
Flower on lid cut on the Cricut; Walk in my Garden cart, the heart photo I did using my Photo Serif program. Gold organza ribbon, the swirls and edges are inked with Brilliance Pearlescent Beige.

I have Gone Topless

Well not exactly.....I did this card for a friend 'Caroline' who loves open top cars & sadly has not yet been able to own one. Thought I'd give her the next best thing.
The stamp was kindly stamped for me by Gill it is from Rubber Romance, I then painted it with Blonde Moments pigment chalks & the hair with my Marvy pens. I used glossy accents on the wheels.
I cannot remember the paper, but it is quite popular at the moment the sentiment I made up & printed off.

Dottie Invigilates!

A card for an invigilator who was unable to work during this exam season - she was missed.
I used Louly's Dottie from her work range and added my own sentiment. Dottie was coloured using simple colouring pencils and some glossy accents added on her red shoes, flowers in her hair & apples....nothing like a shiny apple to win an invigilator over! Vintage buttons from my great grandma's button box worked with some wire & mounted onto ribbon.

Two Birthdays, Two Cards

My Mum & Dad's birthdays are a week apart so thought I would post these ones together.... the cricketer is a decoupage from Paper Nation and I have created the Happy Birthday Dad using my Cricut Design Software.
Mum's is stamped with a gorgeous stamp from Hero Arts 'Two Flourish Flowers', I stamped it with Color Box Chalks, Lavender and Olive Pastel, the background is a mix of Color Box again gently dabbed over and then the sides edged. The Mum is the negative of the Cricut cut out & then coloured this with Color Box Chalks the same as the background and put another piece of card behind it that was block coloured with the lavender chalk ink. All topped off with a few gems.

Great at Eighty

Sorry, lots of pictures of this one. The image was stamped & embossed then I coloured using H20's, mounted onto patterned paper & added photo corners.
I stitched double layers of paper/card together to great more luxury to the card. Some extra gems & some black & pink ribbon & Great at Eighty sentiment.

Yummy K & Co papers.

I used K & Co papers on this, the Happy Birthday message I cut using the computer software for my Cricut machine, it allows you to weld objects together. I edged the words with Color Box chalk inks, and cut the numbers and flowers with the Cricut too. I embellished with some Flower Soft and silver swirl and ribbon.

Bookmark Card

I made this card for my SIL, I cut the tag from my Cricut machine using the Walk in Garden cartridge, I then created the pocket using another cut on the same cartridge but juggled about with it to add the contrasting trim. All edged with Color Box Chalk inks; pink.
The flowers were also cut on the Walk in the Garden cart along with the Happy Birthday, the sentiment is from a clear stamp in the Woodware range.
I cannot remember the paper -anyone who can remind me please feel free...either way I love the paper.

My First Dottie

These beautiful images created by Louly really are amazing, they really come alive when you add a bit of colour. So easy to download and print.

I coloured the image using shimmer chalks, it is a really lovely look, I then used glossy accents on the goggles and water puddles and drip scattered with a bit of glitter.

I then cut an oval from a large sheet of card that I covered with handmade vellum/tissue blue and white bubble like paper. This is raised onto the card to add definition. The sentiment is printed from the PC & chalk coloured. To finish off are a few white bubble like peels offs I found in my stash.

Laura Ashley Papers

Laura Ashley have launched their own range of yummy stuff, I made these two cards using their 8x8 papers, they are gorgeous.
The top one I cut the circle on my Expression & cut out the birds on some of the left over paper & embellished them onto the edges. I then cut the scalloped tag using Mini Monograms cartridge I also did this on the shadow setting for the purple behind, I inked the edges with Pastel Olive Colour Box Chalk ink. Added the ribbons three of them to co-ordinate and a few gems.
The Toile one I was not so happy with, just a quarter circle on the bottom right edged with French Blue Colour Box Chalk ink, flower cut from George & embellished with ribbon.
