Here Comes the Bride

You may have spotted my earlier posts of a handmade wedding card with a bride and groom on the front and printed with the happy couples names.

The bride has gorgeous beads hand stitched down the back of her dress, which is cut out of a beautiful pearlescent white card.

The Italian Job

The stage was set... 

Rome was the place that the proposal took place a romantic occasion on the steps of the famous Colosseum on a cold New Years Day (last year), what could be more fitting than to have your wedding stationery inspired by that wonderful occasion in a beautiful place.

The photograph on the main invitation was taken by the groom himself on the trip and was incorporated into the design.

The rest of the range was peppered with an Italian style swirl and accented with Roman Numerals cut into the stationery to showcase the gorgeous purple colour that the couple chose as their theme colour.

and so the start of a beautiful marriage began .....

The invites were wallets that contained all the information that their special guests needed to attend the big day including an  R.S.V.P. complete with menu choice.

Table numbers and the seating plans all followed the theme of the Roman Numerals from I-XII and looked fantastic with the beautiful table decorations and chair sashes.

Guests could remind themselves of what they had ordered as within the centre of each table sat the menu and on the reverse each guests name on the table with their choice of food.

 Place Names with a difference, each one personalised and in the style of a tag that attached to the favours.

A Winter Wedding at Christmas Time

A Winter Wedding at Christmas Time - what a gorgeous time to get married.

This card is printed on a card that has a subtle shimmer; and the happy couple are cut layered onto a shimmer red which compliments the swirls and date which is also in red.

The bride has white beads along her back which I have hand stitched. This card has been personalised with the names of the couple that are to be married.

Love on Safari

Elephants all loved up printed within an inked edge heart and then mounted onto corresponding dessert brown. Topped with a luggage tag with the bride and grooms names and a sentiment in the bottom corner.

I printed the elephants and then spend a long time trying to cut them on my Cricut in the exact place....I did it finally!

Love is in the Air

Three hearts at different sizes are scored in half and then straight stitched to the layer underneath. Zig zag stitching border and sentiments with swirls.

Anyone for Safari?

Cute little notelets spotted or plain pearlescent card with blank insert. The set includes a Giraffe, Elephant & Cheeky Hanging Monkey...write a note to say Thank you, Get Well, Miss You or just to say you love someone  ♥♥♥  Find them on ETSY ♥♥♥

Three Layered Hearts

A larger silver heart with two smaller pearlescent hearts mounted on top. The top heart is decorated with a silver swirl and three handmade glossy love hearts a personalised sentiment is added to the bottom right corner of the card.

Tying the Knot

A super silver and black combination really stands out. This heart swirl was cut on the Circut using the Home Decor cartridge. The silver Bazzill card is zig zag stitched for ultra stylish-ness! With the additions of the ribbon that have little knots tied in them, this really is the card for a couple who have just announced that they are 'tying the knot'!

Music to Love

Wedding notes downloaded image file and printed, then mounted behind heart cutout using George on my Expression, this is stitched for extra texture. Both then mounted onto K&Co paper and cut with curved edge. All wrapped with cream ribbon & mounted onto co-ordinating paper that is stitched to a cream card.

Sage organza ribbon embelished with a button for the final seal of approval!

Hearts Galore

I created this bride & groom card using stamping & embossing. I stamped the hearts 'by Blonde Moments' onto a mixture of thin card and parchment. I then versa marked over the stamped images & sprinkled UTE over them & then set about heating them. I managed to create the gloss look & opague 'ness' that I wanted, which allow a slight curl on the hearts.
I then created a strip of cream & brown card & got out my trusty sewing machine & stitched it to the pearlesent card that I had swirl stamped. I then topped the hearts onto the stitched strip of brown card. Stamped with the sentiment.....voila!

Still into my colouring, I know I have not been posting for a while, well actually a BIG while, 2 months, oh my gosh.

Open the Gates for your Valentine

Quick gate fold Valentine card covered with yummy Dovecraft paper, I cannot remember the name but quite masculine.

The heart was cut on my Cricut machine using good old trusty George cartridge, I cut it at 3" & then on 3" shadow, on the smaller of the 2 hearts I added the eyelets to thread some gold organza ribbon through. This is then raise mounted onto the larger heart & attached halfway over the gatefold.

On the side without the heart I added those absolutely yummy card candy pips the Raspberry Ripple variety from Craftworkcards. The inside has an Ingrid Bergman quote on vellum which I cut the bottom with wiggly scissors & inked with Chalk Ink.

A Brilliant First

My lovely friend Claire wanted to make a card for her fiancee, she had never made a card before (or so she claims) looking at this I would have thought she was a pro. She had a rummage thorough my Cricut Carts & stash & came up with this brilliant card layout....I love it & so did her fella......x

Wedding Memento Explosion Box

An explosion box with photos of the day and a scroll of the reading that her friend gave. This little box will be kept and treasured forever.
Flower on lid cut on the Cricut; Walk in my Garden cart, the heart photo I did using my Photo Serif program. Gold organza ribbon, the swirls and edges are inked with Brilliance Pearlescent Beige.

Hearts Make a Flower

Lots of hearts cut from George and then arranged into a flower. I then stitched the flower & round the edges.
The sentiment was printed on my computer & edged with ink I then finished off with some yummy buttons & a felt flower with petals that also look like hearts.

Curves & Stitches

Two wedding anniversary cards with slight variations. Essentially A4 folded and then cut with a curve, I then cut another strip of card in a curved angle with scallop scissors, I then stitched it to the card that I had already decorated with patterned paper.
Butterfly cut with WIMG Cricut on contrasting card & then in shadow, I attached 2 buttons. The sentiment then heat embossed onto card I had decorated using Chalk Inks.

Happy Hearts

My anniversary card to DH, pearlesant cream card with Brilliance beige ink stamped little swirls, each heart is stamped onto patterned paper with Blonde Moments heart stamps & then I have clear embossed to make them shiny & curl slightly.
The cream card I stitched & accented with brown then added the sentiment from Hero Arts stamp set.

Our Hearts are Tied Together

Another wedding card, pretty pink and chocolate...yum. I stamped a heart onto acetate which I cut out, I then stamped the same image onto shrink plastic punched a hole into it & then heated to shrink it. I then attached it to a ribbon that I had wrapped around the acetate heart...a few gems here & there to finish...voila!

Joined in Matrimony

Pearlescent cream card with twin hearts cut on my Cricut. The pale green matched the colour scheme of the wedding attire.
Fairly simpe but quite striking.
